Gate Automation NSW does not lock you into maintenance contracts. We stand by our prices and service. What we offer is a regular service schedule to which you will receive a friendly reminder and upon acceptance of the reminder, we book a date, and your servicing will be done fuss-free at an agreed price.

What we offer is much more than a piece of mind. What our servicing does for you is lengthen the life of your products, decrease the downtime due to breakdowns and keep your product running efficiently and cleanly. Because the clear majority of our products are exposed to the elements day in, day out we have been called out to repair gates for just about every possible scenario. A lot of the time, the breakdowns could have been avoided by regular servicing. Things like debris build-up, corrosion, insect infestation (more common than what you’d imagine) and basic maintenance all conspire to create gate operation failure. - Check gate operation and safety.
- Check gearbox oil and top up if necessary.
- Check grease & adjust Chain and Sprockets.
- Check racking and Pinion.
- Check clutch and adjust if needed.
- Check all Rollers, both Running and Guide.
- Check alignment of Gate.
- Check all fasteners for correct tension.
- Clean inside PLC Control Board Cabinet, PE Beams etc. and remove any foreign objects.
- Check and adjust the operation of the PLC Board.
- Check the full operation of the gate once all the above is complete.

- Check gate operation and safety.
- Check gearbox oil and top-up if necessary.
- Check the running track and running rollers.
- Check all guide rollers for wear.
- Check and adjust the Clutch.
- Check racking and pinion for wear.
- Check the alignment of the gate.
- Check all fasteners for correct tension.
- Check all hold down bolts.
- Clean inside PLC control board cabinet and PE beams and remove any foreign objects.
- Check the full operation of the gate once all the above is complete.

- Check swing gate operation and safety.
- Check the manual operation of gates.
- Check the swing gate actuators’ operation.
- Check hinges and lubricate.
- Check all fixings of hinge posts and automation brackets.
- Check the condition of operators and grease all moving parts.
- Clean inside PLC control board cabinet and PE beams and remove any foreign objects.
- Check the full operation of the gate once all the above is complete.

- Check turnstile operation.
- Check the turnstile operating system and solenoids, both in and out.
- Check correct spring tension.
- Check all fasteners for correct tension.
- Check engaging sprocket.
- Check operation under load.
- Check key over-ride, both in and out.
- Check and grease rotor bearing.
- Clean inside top and remove any foreign objects.
- Check operation of access door beside turnstile, including hinges, latching etc.
- Check operation of Turnstile once all the above has been completed.

- Check swing gate operation and safety.
- Check manual release operation of boom gate.
- Check the condition of the cabinet and boom arm.
- Check the condition of fixing plates of boom arm and tension if required.
- Check correct spring tension and adjust if required.
- Clean inside PLC control board cabinet and PE beams and remove any foreign objects.
- Check all fixing bolts.
- Check the full operation of the gate once all the above is complete.
